The bridgestone battlecross x31 (110/100-18) is a high-performance off-road / enduro & soft-to-intermediate terrain tire.
Terrain target: soft-to-intermediate — designed for mud, sand, loose dirt, and damp soil, but offers broader versatility than pure soft tires.

Not street legal (NHS): stamped NHS (not for highway service) — strictly for closed-course tracks and off-road trails. Not DOT approved.

Position & fitment: rear wheel fitment in 18-inch sizing (110/100-18), making it a standard fit for off-road woods, gncc, and enduro bikes (250cc–450cc).
Castle block™ technology: features raised secondary blocks on the central tread knobs to increase edge effect for extra traction under acceleration on hardpack sections.

Bunker grooves: small indentations built between the tread blocks that improve flex and bite even when the main knobs are fully submerged in mud or soft soil.

Asymmetric tread layout: rear tread block placement is optimized to maintain consistent drive grip during acceleration and steady side-bite through ruts
X20 successor: replaced the popular battlecross x20, widening its operating range into harder surfaces while retaining strong sand/mud performance.

Cooling fins: incorporates air-channeling cooling fins along the sidewall to dissipate heat under high flex, keeping carcass temperatures down during long gncc or enduro motos.

Taller sidewall profile: the 18-inch sizing (110/100-18) offers a taller, more flexible sidewall than 19-inch motocross tires, providing superior impact absorption over sharp rocks and exposed roots.

Low-psi flex: engineered to deform and wrap around obstacles when run at lower off-road pressures (10–12 PSI) or paired with an off-road foam mousse.
Expanded working window: while classified as a soft-to-intermediate tire, the secondary castle block edges allow it to hold grip on slick, hardpacked sections better than traditional pure-soft tires.

Tear-resistant polymer compound: uses a revised rubber compound formulation designed to prevent the center knobs from tearing off under hard acceleration over rocky soil.

Asymmetric shoulder block design: the side knobs feature a varying angle layout to maintain consistent side-bite when leaning deeply into rutted turns or changing lines mid-corner.

Proportionate block stiffness: the spacing between the shoulder blocks is specifically calibrated to allow the tread to bite into soft soil without letting individual knobs fold over on harder terrain.

Enduro setup & mounting considerations

Tubliss system compatibility: the flexible 18-inch carcass seals cleanly against tubliss low-pressure systems, allowing woods riders to safely drop operating pressures down to 6–8 PSI for maximum extreme-enduro traction over wet rocks and logs.

Cold weather flexibility: synthetic polymers in the tread compound keep the rubber pliable at near-freezing temperatures, preventing knob cracking during winter trail rides.
