The mitas e-07 / e-07+ (120/70 r19 60T) is a legendary 50/50 dual-sport adventure front tire (now broadly rebranded under the mitas enduro trail / enduro trail+ moniker).

Built for long-haul expedition riding, it is famous for its exceptionally hard rubber formulation, stiff sidewalls, and balance of open-road longevity with dirt trail capabilitydakar vs. Standard construction: the dakar edition (identifiable by a yellow sidewall stripe) adds an extra carcass ply and an updated rubber blend containing additional carbon black.

This increases puncture resistance and stiffens the sidewall for heavy overland loading, though it trades away some wet tarmac chemical grip and low-temperature flexibility compared to the standard green stripe or un-striped versions.

Chevron tread block geometry: the continuous central chevron pattern reduces rolling resistance and tread noise on asphalt transits while presenting sharp perpendicular biting edges to loose gravel and shale off-pavement.

Rim protection profile: the bead area features heavy, reinforced rim-guard casing shielding that protects spoked and cast rims from structural denting during low-pressure off-road impacts.

Thermal stability: high carbon black density prevents tread squirm, compound softening, and rapid wear during high-speed highway runs under hot ambient conditions.
